Visit to Mater Dei

Our Year 9 Biology and Chemistry students recently had the opportunity to participate in an engaging career orientation visit to Mater Dei Hospital, organised by the Guidance Team in collaboration with the Science Department.

During the visit, students attended an informative lecture highlighting the wide range of career opportunities available within the health sector. This session provided valuable insights into various professional pathways and the skills required to succeed in this dynamic field.

Students also enjoyed a hands-on experience through visits to the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments. Here, they observed professionals at work and gained a deeper understanding of how these roles contribute to patient care and rehabilitation.

This experience was both educational and inspiring, helping students connect their classroom learning with real-world applications while encouraging them to consider future careers in healthcare.

A big thank you to all the staff at Mater Dei Hospital for their warm welcome and for making this visit so informative!
