NSS Judokas, accompanied by their experienced coach Denis Braidotti, participated in a training camp at Kuroki Dojo Judo Club in Tarcento, Province of Udine. A special technique training session was led by Italian Judo Master Stefano Stefanel, the founder of Kuroki Judo Club. With over 46 years of experience, he has trained numerous Italian national, World, and Olympic champions. During the camp, our students engaged in intensive training sessions alongside clubs from the Veneto region.

During the Judo Training Camp in Udine, NSS students had the chance to explore the city centre, discovering its historical landmarks. They also traveled to neighboring Slovenia, visiting a World War I Museum to learn about the region’s significance, where the borders of Italy, Slovenia, and Austria converge.

The students met the mayor of Tarcento at the local council building, where they shared their experiences and exchanged gifts as a symbol of friendship. They enjoyed the fresh air and tranquility of the picturesque Lake Cavazzo and explored Venzone, voted Italy’s best medieval village.

At the renowned Comelli Winery, they learned about the local winemaking process. Their journey continued to Aquileia, where they visited the ancient Roman harbor, the famous basilica, and its museum. The students also explored the seaside town of Grado and were warmly welcomed at the Comelli Agritourism Resort, where they savored traditional Friuli Venezia Giulia cuisine.

On the final day, they visited the enchanting city of Venice before returning home. Truly, a training camp to remember!
