18 NSS students aged between 11 and 14 have just returned from a basketball training camp in Tarsogno, Italy. The aim of the event was to enable the students to experience life as a professional athlete. They also dedicated time to work on their technique and physical component.
They had the opportunity to train with different players and competed against various clubs from Parma.
It is the aim of the NSS to provide similar opportunities of total immersion in professional sport life to all the sport disciplines taught in this school.
The Italian coaches had nothing but praise for the dedication and performance of our student athletes who put on a brilliant display in every game they played.
Our students were accompanied by basketball coaches Silvio Cassar, Miguel Falzon and Claudio Massari.
