Off to Kaunas, Lithuania. The NSS Basketball students went to Lithuania for another training camp.

The Basketball Training Camp 2024 in Kaunas, Lithuania started with morning sessions followed by two games in the afternoon.  Two positive performances by our Under 15 Girls team (lost afternoon Overtime by 1) and our Under 12 Boys team (won by 12).

As part of the holistic education, NSS students had the opportunity to visit the centre of Kaunas.

The second day of the Lithuania Basketball Training Camp 2024 saw the NSS Basketball Under 13 boys and girls play against the Under 13 boys of Zalgiris Academy. The second game of the day saw the NSS teams play against the Under 15 Zalgiris academy first team. Well done to both teams!

The National Sport School Basketball Training Camp in Kaunas, Lithuania concluded a 3-day camp in a productive way. The morning began with an intense training session focused on skill development, where the students displayed exceptional talent and progress.

In the afternoon, the Under-13 Girls and Under-15 Boys teams took to the court for friendly matches against their counterparts from the renowned Zalgiris Academy. These games provided a valuable opportunity for the young athletes to test their skills against strong competition.

The camp ended on a high note as the entire group attended a thrilling EuroLeague game at the Zalgiris Arena, where Zalgiris Kaunas faced off against Efes Anadolu Istanbul. The electric atmosphere, with over 16,000 spectators, offered the students a unique chance to witness elite basketball firsthand and draw inspiration from the high level of play. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved!
