Grandparents Day at the National Sport School was a memorable celebration of love, family and tradition. The day was a beautiful reminder of the bond between generations and the important role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren.

The halls of the National Sports school echoed with laughter and joy as the school recently hosted a heartwarming Grandparents’ Day to celebrate and promote Pink October. This event designed to foster intergenerational bonds and celebrate the wisdom of our seniors in society. This featured a delightful fitness session by our teachers at school, mass, entertainment and a series of fun activities infused with music. The day kicked off with coffee and biscuits. Later mass was organized highlighting the significance of family unity and role of grandparents play in shaping the values of younger generations. The day continued with a lively fitness session underscoring the importance of health and well-being for individuals of all ages. All grandparents enthusiastically participated in a range of exercises from gentle stretches to invigorating dance moves. The highlight of the day was a series of fun activities infused with music that catered to all ages. A dance-off featuring a mix of contemporary and nostalgic tunes brought smiles and laughter to the faces of all. Later on the school also provided lunch to all the guests where they enjoyed it so much.
This activity not only promoted teamwork but also bond between all grandparents. This Grandparents’ celebration was a resounding success bringing together different generations in an atmosphere of love, respect and joy.
