As part of the pink October initiative, the school organized a memorable day for all grandparents of the students that attend the National Sports School. All grandparents enjoyed this activity and enjoyed the morning together. There was also a good number of grandparents who came wearing pink to support this initiative. The day started with hearing mass and after that all the grandparents were invited for coffee. The day continued with a short show by Ronald Briffa better known as Ron who animated the audience in his unique way. Winner and popular singer of Xfactor Ryan Hili also attended this event. After some music, all grandparents were invited to do twenty minutes of exercise by our strength and conditioning teacher Darren Bezzina who through music helped them move in the most efficient way. After exercise, it was the turn of the students’ messages that passed on to their grandparents in the most humble and respectable way. This was an emotional moment for all grandparents who were there and described this video as unique. Meanwhile, our school teacher and singer Corinna Baldacchino sang a few of her songs while all grandparents were preparing for lunch. After that they were all involved in a fun music activity where grandparents had to guess music for the past. Lunch was then prepared and served by the teachers of the National Sports School.
