The National Sport School has just celebrated the 10th anniversary since its founding. During the activities to mark this event, it was announced that, as from next scholastic year the National Sport School shall extend its programme to include athletes from Special Olympics Malta and the Malta Paralympic Committee. It is a notable step forward in the school’s aim of becoming ever more inclusive both in the training of its athletes as well as the academic curriculum it offers. Guests at this important event included the Hon. Minister for Education and Sport, Dr Clifton Grima and Dr Lydia Abela, President of Special Olympics Malta who unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.
