Our Budapest training camp was an unforgettable experience. Day 1 began with a training session on Margaret Island, followed by an afternoon at the world-class Danube Arena, where we played Vasas and watched the Hungarian national team prepare for the European Championships. A special highlight was meeting Dušan Mandić and getting a photo with one of the world’s top players.

Days 2 and 3 were filled with intense training and competitive matches against strong Honvéd and YBL U16 teams, where our NSS team showed great determination and quality. We were also inspired by talks and meetings with Hungarian water polo legends Bátori Bence and Olympic gold medallist Dénes Varga. Off the pool, we enjoyed visiting the Christmas market near St. Stephen’s Basilica.
